Festival of Unleavened Bread Day 2
As we continue to count down this festival week, each day is exciting and holds its own adventures! It’s amazing how Yahweh allows us to be put in situations where we can be tested and refined, to make sure this vessel is leaven free! For some, these tests may be met with trepidation, but if we start to embrace the refining, that’s when we see the changes!
We wanted to share some things to help keep you inspired this week:
Special Unleavened Recipe:
Blueberry Crunch Dessert
1 cup all purpose flour
1 stick butter/margarine
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8oz. package of cream cheese
1 package of confectioner’s sugar
1 tub of whipped cream
1 can blueberry pie filling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together flour, pecans, and melted butter. This mixture will be quite thick! Press this dough, making a thin layer, into a disposable foil cake pan. Bake for 15 minutes – watch carefully and don’t overcook!
While waiting for crust to cool, whip together cream cheese, cool whip, and confectioner’s sugar. Once crust is cooled, slice bananas and layer over crust. Then layer the cream cheese/cool whip mixture over the bananans. Finally top with blueberry pie filling.
Refrigerate & enjoy!
And of course, what is a festival without music? Here’s some music that we enjoy at this time of year.
