Bereshiyth 2024

Bereshiyth/”In the Beginning”, Genesis 1:1 – 6:8, is both the beginning of the Torah as well as the record of the beginning of Creation! Isaiah 46:9, 10 – “Remember the former things of old: for I am ‘El, and there is none else; I am ‘Elohim, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning (re’shiyth), and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” This parshah reveals not only the act of creation, but our days (the end/’acharit) as well!
