VaYelech/”And He Went”, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, one short chapter (often paired with Nitzavim), always strategically occurring in the midst of the Fall festivals season! Currently we are in the midst of the 10 days of awe, leading up to Yom Kippur. Does this chapter perhaps reveal the significance of the season we find ourselves in not only in regards to the festival calendar but also the prophetic events currently unfolding? It is quite interesting as the transition is taking place from Moses to Joshua/Yahoshua, there is a warning issued regarding a future time when Yahweh will hide his face – the hester paniym!
