Korah 2022

Korah/Korach, Numbers 16:1-18:32, covers the rebellion within the camp of Israel regarding who has the right to lead Israel, a fight over the priesthood, and ends with thousands dead directly upon the heels of the sin of the spies!  Isn’t it interesting that there is still an ongoing war over the office of the priesthood that is going to become more evident as the days go on (between that of the eternal priesthood of the Messiah, the Melek Tzadik Righteous King and that of those who will attempt to use the guise of the Aaronic/Levitical priesthood, but will truly be a Korah rebellion again)!  Yet if we don’t understand what the significance of this calling is, how we’re expected ourselves to walk in this position, then how can we without a doubt say that we will not play a part in this coming rebellion, lest we understand the responsibility that goes with being called as kings and priests?
