Counting the Omer 2022

In lieu of the normal weekly Torah Portion, as we’ve entered the Spring festival season and specifically the season of the counting of the omer, this will be our focus! Most are familiar with this season as the time frame from Passover to Shavuot. 7 complete Sabbaths are to be counted from Yom HaBikkurim. It is a unique command only associated with this season on Yahweh’s festival calendar. Symbolically often associated with a season of preparation, transformation, and anticipation! We also find that before both life changing Shavuot encounters (Mt. Sinai & the Upper Room and outpouring of the Ruach), it seems this 49 day season was necessary to prepare the Body for what they were about to be entrusted with!
