V'Yera 2023

This Parsha abounds with enigmatic and perplexing tales fostering many questions that have yet to be satisfactorily answered by most scholars! For instance: We have the event of the ‘VISIT’ – V’Yera - that gives us our title. Who were these supernatural guests, two of who later arrive in Sodom to extricate Lot? Why did Abraham argue on behalf of what was, without doubt a wicked city/nation? And what does this have to do with what we see unfolding today on the world stage?
