Beha’alotekha/”When You Set Up”, shifts gears as Israel prepares to disembark from Mt. Sinai, having been camped here for almost a year! Yet as details are given that all seem to connect to the mobility of the camp, the first point that is addressed regards the lighting of the Menorah! It begs the question, what does that have to do with the preparation of the moving of the camp?
